Sleep

Sleep is an essential function that allows your body and mind to recharge, leaving you refreshed and alert when you wake up. Healthy sleep also helps the body remain healthy and stave off diseases. Without enough sleep, the brain and body cannot function properly. This can impair your ability to concentrate, think clearly, and process memories.

Most adults require between seven and nine hours of nightly sleep. Children and teenagers need substantially more sleep, particularly if they are younger than five years of age. Work schedules, day-to-day stressors, a disruptive bedroom environment, and medical conditions can all prevent us from receiving enough sleep. A healthy diet and positive lifestyle habits can help ensure an adequate amount of sleep each night.

Music

Certain kinds of music can make you sleep better. Listening to calming music before you go to sleep will improve your sleep. Playing soundtracks in the background when you go to sleep and while you sleep may also be beneficial to your sleep. Different sleeping soundtracks are available online. We have found that the most relaxing and soothing sound tracks for us are those in the 432Hz range.

Sleeping Posture

Your sleeping posture has a big influence on the quality of sleep you get. Changing your pillow and/or mattress may provide a much better sleeping posture and increase the quality of your sleep and health.

Essential Oils
