What is processed foods?

Processed foods is any food that has been altered in some way during production or preparation.

Examples of common processed foods include breakfast cereals, cheese, canned and frozen vegetables, bread, noodles and pasta, savoury snacks such as crisps and biscuits, microwave or ready-to-eat meals, oils, processed meats such as luncheon meat and jerky, and drinks such as milk, juice and coffee.

There's more, most "whole foods" in supermarkets can be classified as processed foods as they are genetically modified or were raised and fed with antibiotics enriched processed feeds.

Avoid processed foods at all cost!

Processed foods are one of the main contributors for our bodies to be acidic. Our bodies are made to process whole foods and it does not know how to deal with processed foods and then produce acid to get rid of the foreign "foods" that we put into it.
