Raisin Walnut Bread
Servings: 1 Loaf
Ingredients
- 2 cups Whole wheat pastry flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- ¼ cup Maple syrup
- 1 cup Dairy free milk (almond, oat or coconut milk)
- 1 small Banana, smashed
- 1 cup Raisins
- ½ cup Walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a large mixing bowl. Add the syrup, milk, banana, raisins, and walnuts. Stir just enough to mix. The batter will be fairly stiff and sticky.
- Spoon into a 9 × 5 nonstick loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and place on a rack to cool.
